Pebble Palace: French mailman’s Labor of 18 years

Lots of palaces are placed at the center of France. Palace Ideal represents devotion through an art form. Devoid of any education on architecture and art, beautiful piece is created with the work of 33 years by a Frenchman called Ferdinand Cheval. On the way to his mail route, oddly structured pebbles are cemented to give a form.

Creation of the palace has started in 1879. Continuation has gone till 1912. Inspiration behind this dream palace has been a mere pebble. If the traveler goes southeast to France then they can stumble upon Palace Ideal at Hauterivies. Wonderful background for concerts along with exhibition has been created with this place.
